As I recall during the MSC Malaysia Great ICT Sale 2009, a marketing event organised by Multimedia Development Corporation at KLCC, where we soft launched Second CRM, I happened to meet Ms. Kala Ramalingan who was working then as marketing manager with MYOB South Asia and she enquired about our Second CRM product and features. After few days we received call from their office for product demo and we prepared ourselves the best we could as it was really a dream customer for us to work with. We saw their existing system, the grandfather of CRM, Siebel. They wanted to shift to some new solution, which had local support and easier to customise and at the same time they were looking for more cost effective solution that could work with their expansion plans as well. We got a golden opportunity to prove that we can deliver, even though in back of our minds we knew that we never had many features that they required, but I said yes, we can do it.

After many sleepless night and overworked weekends, MYOB went live with all their data migrated from Seibel to Second CRM successfully and all this within just four weeks. Though that was only a start, we did improve upon the implementation with many more small and large customizations, which earlier in Siebel were not so feasible due to high implementation cost and also somewhat system rigidity. It’s now more than five years that we’ve been working with them and there’s no doubt that what we are today is because of that one project and our passion to do something.

A lot of learning experience on both sides, and the confidence they had in us eventually help us evolved with them and grown from a small start-up to what we are now having enabled 100’s of medium size organizations with the same passion.

Our experience with MYOB and various companies across industries has helped us understand what it takes to make any business profitable, and discover the winning formula to hitting those sales targets and building a meaningful relationship with your customers. Companies like McDonalds, Abyres, Abacus, AmTrust Mobile Solutions and REDmoney, all have their share in our success, and we’ve learned from them as they have learned from us and that’s all what we want to share through this blog, with every business that wants to take that leap to the next level.

With more than 16 years of experience in enterprise software applications, Deep along with Sarab founded Second CRM in 2010 in Malaysia. Over last five years Deep has successfully expanded Second CRM into Singapore (partnering with SingTel), Hong Kong (along with PCCW) and recently Philippines (along with Globe Telecom).



With more than 13 years of experience in enterprise software applications, Sarab along with Deep founded Second CRM in 2010. Over the last five years, along with her team, she has successfully implemented Second CRM for more than 150 customers across Asia Pacific, including some of big names like McDonalds Singapore, AmTrust Mobile Solutions, ASTRO, MYOB South Asia, RedMoney, and WWF Malaysia.



Implementation, Support & Training
Rahimah is an experienced customer engagement manager, having more than 5 years progressive experience in managing the Second CRM implementation, support and training teams. With a Masters in Management and Bachelors in Information Technology from KLMUC University, she has been great in identifying and analysing business and technology problems and proposing cost effective solutions.



Marketing and Social Media
Aisyah joined Second CRM in 2012 and takes care of marketing initiatives through online and offline channels. Aisyah holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University Malaysia Pahang. She manages Second CRM’s life on social media to ensure brand strengthening, grow audiences and build market exposure.



Marketing and Communication
Christina has recently joined the Second CRM team and is still learning the ropes about business automation and content marketing from our experts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Writing from Monash University.
